AOC’s gaming sub-brand, AGON, has unveiled two new high-performance gaming monitors: the AGON PRO AG246FK and the AGON PRO AG276UZD. These models are designed to meet the demands of competitive gamers by offering exceptional refresh rates and advanced display technologies.
AGON PRO AG246FK: Redefining Speed with a 600 Hz Refresh Rate
The AGON PRO AG246FK features a 24.1-inch Fast TN panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Its standout feature is the remarkable 600 Hz refresh rate, positioning it among the fastest monitors available. This ultra-high refresh rate ensures exceptionally smooth gameplay with minimal motion blur, providing a significant advantage in fast-paced gaming scenarios. The display delivers a typical brightness of 350 nits and a peak brightness of 500 nits, earning it the VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. Additionally, it boasts a rapid 0.5 ms GTG response time, further enhancing its performance in competitive gaming environments.
AGON PRO AG276UZD: Combining 4K Resolution with a 240 Hz Refresh Rate
The AGON PRO AG276UZD is equipped with a 26.5-inch QD-OLED display, offering a 4K UHD resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. This combination delivers sharp visuals alongside smooth performance, catering to gamers who seek both high resolution and high refresh rates. The monitor achieves 250 nits of brightness at 100% Average Picture Level (APL) and peaks at 1000 nits HDR brightness at 3% APL, with VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certification. The 10-bit panel covers 100% of the sRGB and 99% of the DCI-P3 color spaces, ensuring vibrant and accurate color reproduction.
Advanced Connectivity and Ergonomic Design
Both monitors offer a range of connectivity options to accommodate various gaming setups. The AG276UZD includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, a full-bandwidth DisplayPort 2.1 input with UHBR20, two USB Type-A 3.2 ports, a USB 3.2 Type-B port, a USB 3.2 Type-C port with 65W power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, and a headphone jack. The AG246FK features two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
Ergonomically, both monitors are designed with the needs of gamers in mind. The AG276UZD’s stand offers full adjustability, including up to 130 mm of height adjustment, a bidirectional pivot, +/-30 degrees of swivel, and -5 to 23 degrees of tilt. The AG246FK’s stand provides a wide range of adjustments, including tilt, swivel, height adjustment, and the option to pivot into portrait mode, ensuring comfort during extended gaming sessions.
Global Availability and Pricing
AOC has confirmed that both monitors will have a global release. The AGON PRO AG246FK is priced at 5999 yuan (approximately $844) and is currently available on JD.com. The AGON PRO AG276UZD is expected to be available later this month in the Eurozone for €659 (approximately $700) and in the UK for £499.99 (approximately $530). Details regarding availability and pricing in other regions, including the United States, have yet to be announced.
